CLEVELAND — Brayan Rocchio singled in automatic runner Ramón Laureano with one out in the 10th inning, giving the Cleveland Guardians a 5-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday.

Rocchio also scored an unearned run on Joey Wentz in the eighth to bring the Guardians within 4-3. It was his first hit to leave his rival prone in his career.

Dominican Emmanuel Clase (2-1) scored the victory with a scoreless inning. Cleveland shares the second record in the American League at 24-13.

For the Tigers, Cuban Andy Ibáñez 5-1, one scored. Puerto Rican Javier Báez 3-0, one scored.

For the Guardians, Dominicans José Ramírez and Estevan Florial, both 4-0. Venezuelan Andrés Giménez 0-4, one RBI.
