Sebastián Villa recently made headlines in Colombian football after a rumor emerged that he could return to the country after apparently offering himself to Atlético Nacional.

Villa’s judicial problems make him a difficult player to hire, because after his departure from Boca Juniors, he barely found a chance in Beroe, the team where he is currently playing.

That rumor was completely canceled almost immediately, since the player is comfortable in Bulgaria, so he still has no interest in playing in Colombia in the short term.

To make it clear that his stay in Beroe is more than safe, the midfielder scored a goal this Sunday against Pirin Blagoevgrad, a team they defeated 2-0.

The Colombian scored in the 29th minute through a penalty and then his teammate Vinni Triboulet scored the second to reaffirm the three points.

So far in 2024, Sebastián Villa has played 11 games and has a total of five goals, plus one assist, so his performance makes his stay in Beroe Stara Zagora safe.
