Chicago Sports Network announced Monday that it will launch in October on multiple platforms and will broadcast the Bulls, White Sox and Blackhawks.

CHICAGO — A new means of communication is launching to broadcast games from three professional teams of Chicago, the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox.

Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) announced this Monday that it will be released in October on multiple platforms. The network said that will broadcast more than 300 live Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox games annually and will include pre- and post-game coverage while showing multi-sport programming 24 hours a day.

CHSN, a joint venture between the three teams and Standard Media, will broadcast from studios located both in the United Center of Chicago as in the Guaranteed Rate Field.

CHSN will begin broadcasting the preseason games of the Blackhawks and Bulls in October, and will broadcast White Sox games beginning in 2025. The remainder of the White Sox games in 2024 will remain on NBC Sports Chicago.

Pending league approvals, CHSN will reach most of Illinois, as well as parts of Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin.

The media outlet noted that it will launch with agreements in place with traditional cable providers, streaming services and will be available via free wireless streaming.

“When we set out to design the network, we started and ended every discussion with a simple question: What is best for our fans?” said Jason Coyle, who has been named president of the network after holding leadership positions in sports media with based in Chicago for over 20 years “What is the best approach to distribution? How can we push the boundaries of production both in-game and in the studio? We plan to serve our fans on as many platforms and in as many markets as our rights allow it.”

The teams’ partner, Standard Media, based in Nashville, Tennessee, owns four media stations from Rhode Island to Nebraska.
