Atlético Junior is advancing in its process of strengthening the roster for the Betplay II League 2024 and, most especially, for the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores.
Although the group is on vacation, all available alternatives are handled in the offices and the requests of the coaching staff are discussed to form a solid group that confirms the good season.
There are several positions to occupy and several players who would leave, so Arturo Reyes needs to move quickly. These are the latest movements:
The one who arrives
The surprise over the departure of Walmer Pacheco continues to be great in Barranquilla. He was key in the last title but his contract was not renewed and he ended a three-year cycle.
But there is already a replacement: it is Jhon Lerma, a 21-year-old right back who would arrive on loan for one year from Atlético Huila, with whom he already has 71 games. His experience is in First B and A during the current course.
The one who leaves
According to the newspaper El Heraldo, Fabián Cantillo, who only played 44 minutes in the season, would have asked to leave the team to seek more continuity in another club.
