The final home runs of the season began Women’s League 2024 and A was the one that inaugurated this phase with the duel between Independiente Santa Fecurrent champion and National Athletic, the best team in the round-robin phase. Both teams showed their weapons and had an intense match in which the purslanes had to draw 1-1 agonizingly to save their undefeated record.
The lionesses wanted to impose their home team at the Metropolitano de Techo stadium and although the first minutes were even, those led by Ómar Ramírez managed to open the scoring at 17′ of the first half through their figure, María Camila Reyes.

The Atlético Nacional players were surprised and then suffered the expulsion of the Colombia Under-20 National Team player, Mary José Álvarez, in the 21st minute and from then on, the Purslanes suffered against the Bogotá players.
After going into the break with the slightest difference, Santa Fe sought to maintain that minimal advantage against the Purslanes and in the second half both teams played their game.
Santa Fe reached Vanessa Córdoba’s goal and was able to score, but the definition failed and Nacional began to struggle in tactics to seek equality and it was only until the final minutes that they managed to arrive with more pressure.
When it seemed that those led by Jorge Barreneche were going to lose the undefeated, but the player Yisela Cuesta, One of those who entered at the end was responsible for scoring the agonizing equalizer in the 86th minute, a goal that made the purslanes celebrate wildly.
In the end, Santa Fe and Nacional ended up equaling 1-1 in quadrangular A and the purslanes went 15 games without losing.
