Five players from Antioquia are part of the Atlético Bucaramanga roster, which won this Saturday the first star for the Leopardo team, in its 75 years of creation. They are Carlos Henao, Jéferson Mena, Carlos Romaña, Fredy Hinestroza and Santiago Jiménez.
Defenders Carlos Henao, Jéferson Mena and Carlos Romaña are from the Urabá region, while Hinestroza and Jiménez are from Medellín and became champions with the Búcaros.

Carlos Henao, c35-year-old left-handed starter, native of Turbo, he looked for opportunities in the large casts of Antioquia but did not achieve them. He had fleeting steps in Envigado and Águilas, and performed for América, Millonarios and Santa Fe, the rival in these finals, among other casts.
Jéfferon Mena, 34 years old, central defender and captain of the Santander team, is from Apartadó and has extensive international experience. From DIM, where he trained, he went to New York City of the MLS, then went to Barcelona in Ecuador, Aldosivi in Argentina and returned to Colombia to Águilas. Since 2021 he has been with Bucaramanga.
Carlos Romaña, who performed in the return duel in El Campín, is a 24-year-old defender, born in Vigía del Fuerte in the Urabá region. In his sporting career he has passed through Chicó, Delfines del Este, Villa Española and Danubio in Uruguay, Deportes Quindío and Atlético Bucaramanga.
Fredy Hinestroza, 34, was responsible for the goal, in the first leg, to win 1-0 in Bucaramanga, and has extensive experience abroad: Getafe and Real Zaragoza (Spain) and Santos Laguna and Veracruz (Mexico) . In Colombia he also played for La Equidad, Águilas and Junior.
Finally Santiago Jiménez, who played in Envigado, is 26 years old, and has made 88 commitments as a professional.
In the end, at the celebration, Carlos Henao dedicated the title to his family, who could not be in Bogotá, and all the countrymen of Urabá. “I know that in Turbo, family and friends became fans of this team, because they support us wholeheartedly and this happiness is for all of them.”
