The dream of Scaloneta is definitely underway: the Argentine National Team who drives Lionel Scaloni was received by hundreds of fans in Atlanta, the city where he will debut in the Copa América against Canada next Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The main attraction, as happens in all cities in the world, was Lionel Messi. La Pulga came down with a black leather bag, with a handbag (Speedy P9 25 with shoulder strap, worth 7,500 euros) and a suitcase (Horizon 55, 3,200 euros), both from the Louis Vuitton brand, and escorted by Rodrigo De Paul, Leandro Paredes, Nicolás Otamendi and Giovani Lo Celso.

There were hundreds of fans – most of them Argentine – who came to the hotel where the Scaloneta will gather. The footballers and the coaching staff each grabbed their personal suitcases, but they did not make contact with the public, beyond greetings from a distance.

Before traveling to Atlanta, the team carried out a regenerative practice in Washington, now without the three players who will not be part of the squad: Ángel Correa, Leonardo Balerdi and Valentín Barco.

Scaloni begins to think about the team for the debut

In the coming days, Scaloni will begin to draw up the team for the debut against the Canadians. And there are places where the fight is strong. The left back is a big unknown, with Nicolás Tagliafico with a slight advantage over Marcos Acuña and Nicolás González.

In midfield, Rodrigo De Paul has a guaranteed place, and between Leandro Paredes, Alexis Mac Allister and Enzo Fernández the remaining two places are defined. Upstairs, Messi and Di María will assist Lautaro Martínez, who would win the fight against Julián Álvarez.

After the debut in Atlanta, the Scaloneta will play on Tuesday the 25th against Chile at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and will close the group zone against Peru on Saturday the 29th at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
