After more than two decades dedicating himself to policy in your stateEnrique Alfaro Ramírez will say goodbye for a while as soon as he stops being governor of Jalisco and hand over the baton to your partner Citizen movement (MC), Pablo Lemus Navarro, well, he is already preparing for his next personal and professional challenge.

“I believe in the idea that You have to leave politics before politics leaves youToday I see pathetic cases in which age no longer allows you to be who you were (…) I said, I am going to be a candidate for the Presidency, I am not going to accept being a senator or deputy, I could have been multiple or whatever. be it, but I decided not to do it, I’m not going to make a disfigurement as many governors did just after ambassadors at the service of the regime and handing over the state”, he mentioned in an interview with journalist Adela Micha.

It is against this backdrop that the politician plans backing out -at least in the coming months- of the profession when he stops governing his state he will not compete for the leadership of MC nor will he put himself “at the service” of the next government and confessed that he wants to exploit other horizons:

I want to dedicate myself to footballImagine, if I withdraw from this and I don’t have an additional dose of adrenaline I’m going to go crazy. Soccer is a good dose of adrenaline, I like it a lot, It’s my other passionI’m studying to be a coach, I am taking an online course in the Argentine Federation, and I want to prepare more in case an opportunity arises one day. I would like to one day be Chivas coach”, revealed the president.

His passion for pambol is so great that he even said that just a few days ago, when Fernando Hierro left the technical direction of Guadalajarayour owner Amaury Vergara He joked with him on the phone that he was waiting for his call to sign up as the next coach of the red and white team. And what better than the club he loves, of which he has evidently been a fan for many years, but Alfaro Ramírez acknowledged that only time will decide that.

The president also gave his diagnosis about the devastating triumph of the National Regeneration Movement (Brunette) in the elections From the past Sunday June 2 and also took the opportunity to criticize again the decisions that the MC leadership has made in recent months, which have made evident their distance from the party.

The still governor of Jalisco celebrated that the Citizen Movement had won the governorship and mayor of Guadalajara again, but he also said he was surprised by the way in which Morena won the Presidency of Mexico and in almost all the states, not so in Jalisco, where he recognized the way in which the residents did not support the orange party project at the national level:

“We are facing a new regime that comes with that legitimacy of origin, because legitimacy is first of how you arrive and then of how you sustain yourself, legitimacy has to continue working, but in the face of a new regime with that level of legitimacy that gives it the number of votes it obtained is where the presence, firmness and conviction of those who we do not share that vision of government. We have to understand that there is a clear mandate from the citizens but that there are also a large number of Mexicans who do not share that vision,” Alfaro noted.

He also said that the results of these elections are the ideal time for the opposition expressions rethink their strategy and stop depending on “party leaders who have no idea what is happening in Mexico”; He criticized the way the opposition alliance was forged with ‘old parties’ instead of building a true opposition.

“What happened is that the party leaderships and bureaucracies They imposed their law and they brought Mexico to where we are today,” said Alfaro Ramírez, whose criticism was not limited only to the National Action parties (BREAD), Institutional Revolutionary (PRI) or the Democratic Revolution (PRD) but also to that of Movimiento Ciudadano: “Marko (Cortés), ‘Alito’ (Moreno), (Jesús) Zambrano and Dante (Delgado) did not have the capacity to imagine something new,” he added while admitting that he has months in talk to his leader and that, despite the respect and gratitude he has for him, he is not willing to ‘applaud’ all the decisions he makes.
