For his part, the english cast up as one of the candidates to be champion of this Euro and in last week’s friendlies they achieved a 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in St. James’ Park, with goals from Cole Palmer -from a penalty-, Trent Alexander -Arnold and Harry Kane, and an alarming 1-0 defeat against Iceland at Wembley.
Furthermore, Gareth Southgate surprised with the list of those summoned to the European competition in which it left out five figures who will be important absences: Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Jack Grealish (Manchester City), Harry Maguire (Manchester United) and James Madison (Tottenham).
