The director of ‘Gol Caracol’ spoke about the competition for the audience at the Copa América 2024.
The Copa América 2024 started and with it the initial whistle was also given to the fight for the audience on Colombian television, between Caracol Channel and RCN TV Channel. And although the two open television channels will only be able to broadcast seven matches of the tournament, there is already a marked trend in the rating figures.
Thus, the product ‘Snail gol’ has swept the audience figures in the two matches that it has broadcast alongside RCN: the opening match, Argentina vs. Canada, and the debut of the Colombian National Team, in which they beat Paraguay 2-1.
Given the marked differences in the rating, Javier Hernández Bonnet, director of the ‘Snail gol’ and main commentator of the channel. In conversation with WEEKconfessed what he feels when he sees how well his team has done and the poor numbers of the competition.
Hernández Bonnet was clear, since many think that in Snail they enjoy that RCN “it goes badly”, but the commentator made it clear that “we have some points in common.
