Without a doubt, the cardinal team was helpless because they were close to the goal set and in the face of this painful result, the coach Pablo Peirano analyzed the team’s performance throughout the championship, recounting details of what was discussed in the dressing room, making it clear that there were no reproaches.
“No reproaches to the boys, no blame. “We all looked each other in the eyes in the locker room, we closed a talk with applause because we all made a maximum effort to reach this stage,” Peirano initially said.
Likewise, the Uruguayan coach stated that he will continue in the project for the next semester and will study ways to improve the squad for the next semester.

Beyond not achieving the final objective, there are things that go beyond the result that I value as a coach, and we are going to continue along those lines,” Peirano mentioned.
Finally, the strategist felt proud to be able to get into the game, because everyone knew that the goal was to be champions, but it was not achieved.
“We are overcome with sadness for not achieving our goal, but at the same time we feel proud of the situation we experienced. The game was changeable because the rival’s goals hit us, but we knew how to recover and get into the game and we tried in every way. In the penalty shootout we missed it, but I’m proud, I’m not used to lowering my head, I don’t need to be lamented, the group is hurt, but let’s pass the moment and think about what’s coming,” concluded Peirano.
