The Argentine tennis player Juan Manuel Cerúndolo (No. 181 in the ATP world ranking) once again shouted champion. On the Challenger circuit, the Buenos Aires native defeated in the grand final of Lime to the brazilian Pedro Boscardin Dias 6-4 and 6-3.
For the youngest of the brothers cerundolo This title was the eighth trophy in the category in his entire career (previously champion in Rome 2, Como, Banja Luka, Buenos Aires, Coquimbo II, Tigre I and Tigre II) and the first in the last 17 months.
The road to consecration in Lima began with victory over his compatriot Lautaro Midon. He subsequently defeated another Argentinian, Gonzalo Villanueva and then got rid of Matheus Pucinelli de Almeida and Juan Bautista Torre in the semi-finals.
Thanks to this triumph, Juan Manuel will rise 27 places in the ATP world ranking and, as of this coming Monday, it will be number 154, in what will be its best position in the last two months.
The next step you will take cerundolo on the circuit it will be, again, in the Challengers. Next week it will debut on Santa Cruz (Bolivia) again before Lautaro Midon.
