PHILADELPHIA — Kyle Schwarber homered twice, Trea Turner had two hits in his return to the lineup and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the San Diego Padres 9-2 on Monday.

Alec Bohm added a three-run homer and two singles, and Venezuelan Rafael Marchán had four hits and one RBI for Philadelphia, which had 18 hits, seven of them extra-base hits. The NL East leaders were playing at home for the first time since June 5 after an eight-game, three-city intercontinental swing that included two games in London against the Mets.

Colombian Donovan Solano hit an RBI double for the Padres, who have lost four in a row overall and eight in a row on the road.

Dominican Cristopher Sánchez (4-3) allowed one earned run in seven innings. He struck out five, walked one and allowed six hits.

Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos and Brandon Marsh also had two hits each for the Phillies. Castellanos hit a pair of doubles, and Harper and Marsh had one each.

Dominican Randy Vásquez allowed six runs and 12 hits in 4 1/3 innings.

For the Padres, Dominicans Fernando Tatis Jr. 3-1 and Manny Machado 4-2 with one run scored. Venezuelan David Peralta 1-1.
