Atenas fell this Monday as a visitor by 84 to 70 against Racing de Chivilcoy in the final series of the Argentine Basketball League for promotion to the National League and everything will be decided this Friday at the Carlos Cerutti sports center in the city of Córdoba.
The series was 2-2 after the home team’s victory at the Grilon Arena stadium.
“El Griego” suffered an injury to one of his key players in the first quarter: captain Lucas Arn, due to an ailment in his right calf that forced him to leave and not return.

The deputy and former referee from Cordoba Héctor Baldassi spoke with Chain 3 in the stadium, where he went to cheer: “All of Córdoba is cheering. We hope to get ahead.”
“The excitement has been there since the first day we came to Athens. We came for this and we are one step away. There is little left and a lot left at the same time, but we are on the right path,” said point guard Nicolás Zurschmitten in the preview.
