After the death of Lorenzo Somaschini, the 9-year-old pilot who crashed in Brazil, motorcycling is still in mourning. Now, the death of Alvaro Ruiz, during training for what was going to be his last race. The motorcyclist from Santiago had an accident in Mansupa (Río Hondo), after suffering a fatal blow, ending up next to the fence in the Carlos Eugster circuit. Although he was quickly transferred to the sanatorium center, the 28-year-old was admitted without vital signs. Finally, he continues the investigation to find out exactly what happened to him.

“He made a jump and continued. Right in that part of the circuit there was a curve where he had to turn, but he continued on with the motorcycle. He didn’t brake, he didn’t let go, nothing. The motorcycle took him. Before reaching the fence he fell to the ground. He goes to one side and the motorcycle to the other,” said a source who was on the premises.

He was the owner of the circuit, Francisco Eugster, who came and loaded the motorcyclist into his truck to take him to the health center. And even though they performed Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) during the journey, Álvaro arrived without vital signs. On the other hand, personnel from the Community Police Station No. 40which is carrying out the investigation to find out exactly what happened to the young man from Santiago.

The accident took place on the circuit Carlos Eugsterlocated in Deep River (Santiago del Estero), last Monday, June 17 in the afternoon. It was there where the motorcyclist (28) carried out his training aboard his Yamaha YZF 250 cm3 bluewith which he practiced to compete in his last race.
