The Argentine did not hide his frustration over the lack of pace of his MP team car in the Barcelona sprint race, the sixth round of Formula 2.
Franco Colapinto’s grim gesture was a clear example of how he felt after finishing 11th in the sprint race in Barcelona. The Argentine started seventh, after being third in the classification, but already in the heat he lost three places. During the 26 laps that lasted the short competition of the sixth round of Formula 2, the lack of rhythm in the MP team car was noticed and, finally, the Argentine lost one more place with his teammate Dennis Hauger.
“I had a big lack of grip from the beginning, I was slow throughout the race, from the beginning I had a lack of rhythm. “I lacked traction,” It was the first analysis of the rider who belongs to the Williams F1 team’s development program.
After third place in the classification, the Argentine’s dream was to score points in both races. But one thing is the car on one lap and another is the race pace.
