PHILADELPHIA — Cristopher Sánchez pitched seven scoreless innings a day after the Phillies gave him a new contract, Bryce Harper had a double and a single and the NL-leading Phillies won 4-1 on Sunday to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

David Dahl hit a two-run single and Bryson Stott and Nick Castellanos had RBIs for the Phillies, who took two of three in the series that was a rematch of the National Championship Series, which Arizona won.

Dominican Ketel Marte had an RBI single in the ninth for the Diamondbacks, who had only six hits.

Philadelphia entered Sunday with a seven-game lead over Atlanta in the NL East. The D-backs were nine behind the Dodgers in the NL West, but in the fight for one of the wild cards.

The game started at 11:36 a.m. local time, and was the earliest start at Citizen Ban Park, which opened in 2004.

Sánchez (5-3) struck out four, walked none and allowed only three singles. On Saturday he signed a four-year, $22.5 million contract extension.

For the Diamondbacks, the Dominicans Marte was 1-for-4 with an RBI, Gerlado Perdomo was 1-for-1 with one run scored. Cuban Lourdes Gurriel Jr. 4-2. The Venezuelans Eugenio Suárez 3-0, José Herrera 2-0.
