The flag will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the United States (7:00 p.m. in Argentina) and will be the first time that fans gather in the same place to cheer on Lionel Scaloni’s team. Although in Atlanta there were also several meeting points between Argentine fans prior to the opening match against Canada, the truth is that the immensity of the city and the long distances did not allow a common meeting place to be defined.

But in The Big Apple there will be a silver party during the day in which Lionel Messi will turn 37 years old. Argentine fans are going to dye the heart of New York blue and white to commemorate the remembered flags of the Argentine band in Qatar and give their support to the world champion team. The meeting began to spread on social networks and everything seems to indicate that there will be a wave of Albiceleste fans taking over Times Square just over 24 hours before the duel against Chile, for the second date of the Copa América.

Argentina’s next rival is Chile, which debuted in the Copa América this Friday with a 0-0 against Peru. The match between Lionel Scaloni’s Albiceleste and Ricardo Gareca’s La Roja will be played on Tuesday, June 25, starting at 10 p.m. (Argentine time). The duel will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the imposing stadium with capacity for 80,566 people.
