TORONTO — Juan Soto hit a three-run homer, Gleyber Torres added a two-run shot in his return to the lineup and the New York Yankees snapped a season-worst four-game losing streak by routing the Toronto Blue Jays 16-5 on Friday night.

Aaron Judge had three hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Yankees, who had 18 hits and established their best run-scoring mark of the season.

New York scored seven runs on eight hits off two Toronto pitchers in the ninth inning. Yankees designated hitter Jahmai Jones got two of his three hits in the inning.

Torres went 2-for-4 with three RBIs after being benched for two games by manager Aaron Boone.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Isiah Kiner-Falefa hit solo homers for the Blue Jays, who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

The victory went to Michael Tonkin (3-3). Yusei Kikuchi (4-8) took the loss.

For the Yankees, Dominican Soto was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs. Venezuelans Oswaldo Cabrera 1-1 with one run scored and one RBI, Torres 4-2 with one run scored and three RBIs. Mexican Alex Verdugo is 2-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
