Willson Contreras returned to activity this Monday, against the Atlanta Braves, as third in the order, after recovering from a fracture in his left arm.

St. Louis Cardinals catcher Willson Contreras, who has been out since May 7, when he suffered a broken left forearm, was activated from the disabled list on Monday.

Contreras was behind the plate and batted third in the first game of Monday’s series against the visiting Atlanta Braves.

He hit .280 with six home runs and 12 RBIs in 31 games before landing on the disabled list. The three-time All-Star went 3 for 21 with one RBI in six rehab games at Triple-A Memphis.

The Cardinals sent reliever Nick Robertson, who was also activated from the disabled list, and catcher Nick Raposoto Memphis, on Monday.

Robertson had been on the 15-day disabled list with right elbow inflammation and has not pitched for St. Louis since May 19. He has no decisions and has a 4.38 ERA in eight appearances out of the bullpen this season.

Raposo was called up on Saturday but has not yet made his major league debut. He is hitting .187 with five home runs and 22 RBIs in 47 games this season for Memphis.
