Independent Santa Fe wants to take revenge in the second half of the year after losing to Atlético Bucaramanga in the final of the Betplay 2024-I League in its own home.

The cardinal team will seek to strengthen itself to prevent things like that from happening again and that is why it is already moving in the market.

So far, Santa Fe has seen the departure of two players, such as Jersson González, who was loaned to Independiente Medellín, and Daniel Moreno, whose contract was terminated in the middle of the semester.

Well, as far as signings go, the first could be in the attacking area where Pablo Peirano would look for another centre forward to compete with Hugo Rodallega and Agustín Rodríguez.

And according to information from journalist Julián Capera, Santa Fe is interested in having the services of Kevin Viveros, player who also intends National Athletic.

In recent weeks there has been talk that the Verdolaga would have everything closed with Sarajevo, owner of Viveros’ rights, for his signing, but things did not advance much after Roger Martínez came on the scene.

Given this, Santa Fe would seek to take advantage of that situation and get ahead of Nacional through Viveros who is currently training with La Equidad while his future is resolved.

It is worth noting that Viveros had an excellent performance in the first half of the year, playing 21 games with the insurance team and scoring eight goals.
