Euro 2024 has already defined the group stage and from Saturday, June 29 to Tuesday, July 2, there will be eight consecutive days in which the round of 16 will take place.
With the group stage now over, the teams already know their rivals in the round of 16. It must be taken into account that there are six groups and the first two finishers from each of them passed. With the teams that pass the phase occupying the first two places we would have twelve teams, to which are added the four best third places.
This means that a total of 16 national teams advance to the round of 16. There is no draw for this round, instead the four best third parties face those who came first. Two firsts will compete against two seconds and the rest of the crosses are between those who have been runners-up in their respective groups of this Euro 2024 in Germany, which is being exciting and has already left some surprises in the form of results.
