“Leo Messi has already undergone tests. There is no major injury. The contracture has turned out to be something minor and he will work to reach the quarter-finals. They believe he will be able to participate in the quarter-finals. From that match to the quarter-finals there are nine days in total. Messi will work to be able to make it. They have ruled out anything major,” Edul reported.
In this way, the good news came for coach Lionel Scaloni, who hopes to count on “Leo” in the cross-country stage.
Messi’s return would occur in the quarterfinal match, which would be on July 4 if they finished first or a day later if they finished second.
