ATLANTA — Marcell Ozuna drove in three runs with a bases-loaded double as part of a five-run third inning, and the Atlanta Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-1 on Friday night.

Charlie Morton allowed just three hits to Pittsburgh, his former team.

Austin Riley hit his ninth home run of the season. He has achieved six in the last 14 games.

The Braves scored six times in four innings off Venezuelan Martin Perez (1-4), who returned from the disabled list. The Venezuelan left-hander had been out since May 27 with a strained muscle in his left groin.

The only saving grace for the Pirates came in the eighth inning, when Bryan Reynolds singled through the middle of the infield off Jesse Chávez. He extended his hitting streak to 24 games, the longest this season in the majors.

It’s also the longest streak by a Pittsburgh hitter since 2003.

Morton (5-4) looked dominant in just his second career start against Pittsburgh, where he pitched from 2009-15.

For the Pirates, Dominican Oneil Cruz went 0-for-4. Mexican Rowdy Téllez went 0-for-3. Venezuelan Edward Olivares went 0-for-4. Cuban Yasmani Grandal went 0-for-3.

For the Braves, Dominican Ozuna was 1-for-2 with one run scored and three RBIs. Venezuelan Orlando Arcia was 0-for-3.
