Maffini’s club, Unión de Arroyo Seco, published a statement on its social media offering condolences to Lautaro’s family and friends; in addition to declaring mourning, so its facilities will remain closed until Sunday 30th inclusive.

The judicial authorities ordered an autopsy to determine the causes of his death.
