The Ambassador team has made great moves in the transfer market and has closed six contracts, the most important being Radamel Falcao García.
The Samario forward will be joined by Jhon Emerson Córdoba, Panamanian Jovani Welch, Juan José Ramírez, Félix Charrupí and Daniel Mantilla, who will be confirmed in the coming days.
Well, with these six signings, Millonarios has concluded the market, according to the president of the club’s board of directors, Gustavo Serpa in dialogue with Caracol Radio.
“We have already closed the hiring book, that is what the coach asked of us and I think we put together a good combo to compete for the title this year,” said Serpa.
For his part, Serpa clarified that Falcao asked him to be one of the squad: “Falcao wants to play, win titles and he is a team man, he wants to travel with them no matter what, he wants to train, he is committed to the club and his teammates and with the purpose of being champion.”
And he pointed out the date of Tigre’s arrival at Millonarios: “He is in his definitions, I think he will arrive at the end of next week. He wants to come soon and join the squad and do the preseason. He is working individually, but everything is being coordinated with the team’s physical trainer and developing his program. Falcao wants to travel with the team to Argentina from here.”
For his part, the director pointed out that Larry Vásquez, Juan Carvajal and Beckham Castro will leave the club and assured that Daniel Ruiz will stay: “Larry has the opportunity to leave and he is in that negotiation, he is close to making it happen and the idea is that Daniel Ruiz stays with us. “The idea is that Carvajal and Beckham go to get minutes and then return home.”
Finally, he talked about the incredible subscriptions for 2024-2: “I came from meeting with the team and I was telling them exactly that about the subscriptions. We always have a big commitment, but this semester will be special because we are going to have a full stadium at home and abroad. Our rival always wants to beat us and now they will have special motivation and that is what a great team likes.”
