Caicedo’s loan contract with the ‘Tiburones’ ended on June 30 and the only possibility that opened up to keep him in the red-and-white squad was the acquisition of his transfer.
Junior tried to extend the loan and made several offers in that regard, but Vancouver Whitecaps rejected them one after another.
