IKEA has just presented an entire line of furniture aimed at gamers, with which they hope to change the paradigm of gaming sessions and the aesthetic preferences of gamers.

It is not the first time that IKEA appears on Andro4all. Their gadgets are still small nods to the technological community and, at least, they are quite useful for everyday life. We can take for example the universal charger from the Swedes, or the night lamp that acts as a wireless charger. The truth is that they are small things that make our lives easier.
Far from settling in with small gadgets, the Scandinavian firm has continued to focus on making products for the techie public. A good example of them is the line for gamers, Bränboll, which has just been launched. The company itself has published a statement in this regard, giving a good account of the details of this line of business that, apparently, had not yet opened.
This is Bränboll, the new IKEA for gamers
The Swedish brand is very clear: there are 3.3 billion gamers in the world. There is no doubt that it is a good portion of the planet’s population, which means that a good part of the human race uses their free time to play video games. And after a collaboration with ASUS’s Republic Of Gamers (ROG) family in 2021, they wanted to try their luck with their own line of products.
The furniture collection will offer a wide range of solutions for gamers, including storage and different accessories designed for them. However, as is easy to suppose, most of Bränboll will be focused on seats. The Swedes have designed a series of ergonomic chairs that they hope will help make intense sessions a little less taxing on the bodies.
It is especially striking that among these pieces of furniture, apparently, there will be an inflatable chair which, from what we can see in the promotional images, will serve as a pouffe in the players’ rooms. It’s also worth noting that many of these pieces of furniture will be able to be transported around the house and serve other purposes aside from being used in play sessions.
Regarding accessories We are going to have mouse pads, baskets with wheels that can also be used as tables, a folding gamer station with a space to leave the computer tower (as well as its own cable management system) and a display case that can be fixed on the wall.
Furthermore, IKEA wanted to discard the dark tones present until now in products aimed at gamers and replace them with brighter and more present colors. Of course they intend to create a paradigm shift; We’ll have to see how they do with it.
