Today the news that is coming to Gemini has been announced and that all users will be able to enjoy from today. Besides, the Gemini application reaches more countries and, obviously, it supports a greater number of languages. Of course, the most interesting thing are the Extensions that can now be used in Gemini.
Google had announced that the Gemini improvements would arrive in stages to the rest of the countries, there was no need to wait too long to find out everything that is landing in Spain with the help of the Mountain View company’s AI chatbot. In Spain the most important change is its complete adaptation to Spanishoffering a native experience to users.
Extensions in Gemini and the application available in Spanish
Gemini is Google’s AI chatbot and, being part of the Mountain View company, we are interested in checking its integration with the rest of Google services. Extensions are the answer to this, Gemini will work hand in hand with the rest of Google applications or services.
In the company’s statement they make it clear that the purpose of the extensions is for Gemini to save users time by being able to collect information from other Google applications and services. The example they give is quite simple, but it demonstrates the potential of this AI chatbot.

It involves using Gemini to find the dates on which to take a trip with friends by scanning the emails sent by Gmail, making the chatbot work instead of the user having to collect this information and process it manually.
It is not the only useful integration, Gemini will also work with YouTube so the AI chatbot can be asked to show videos about what to visit in a city or, being more basic, how to pack a suitcase in the case of never having done one.
Of course, this should not be confused with YouTube’s AI that has come to light in recent weeks and that allows you to summarize the content of a video or indicate exact information about said content. Leaving aside the examples, the applications or services compatible with Gemini Extensions are the following:

All the news is available from today on Gemini. Of course, Google will request permission when making the AI chatbot have access to your account services. These permissions can be managed from the Extensions panel and, of course, they can be deactivated if you do not want to use them.
Leaving aside the Extensions in Gemini, Google now offers the app on Android mobile devices using Google Assistant. Of course, you will have to have the assistant application installed and you can activate Gemini, on some phones, by sliding your finger from a corner.
If you have an iPhone, the situation is different. To access Gemini you will have to wait a couple of weeks. Those from Mountain View have commented that they will add the chatbot to the Google applicationthus offering this experience without the need for an additional application.
