“Have you ever wondered what goes on in the mind of a sleeping Smurf? Now’s your chance to find out!”

Marcos Yasif

Film and TV Editor

I am the boy who will tell you all the latest news in film and television in 3DJuegos. I am passionate about science fiction, fantasy, superheroes and movie curiosities, those little behind-the-scenes stories of the directors and actors we have been following since we were little. My favorite saga? Star Trek. My favorite character? Superman, although lately a little more John Wick. One last thing, I promise not to bore you too much in my topics. LinkedIn

If you like The Smurfs and you like the adventures of 3D action and platforms, keep an eye on The Smurfs – Dreams. This video game was announced a few days ago with a view to a launch in 2024 and its first trailer has reminded more than one of the much-loved Super Mario 3D World, released in 2013 for Wii U and later adapted, also quite successfully, to Nintendo Switch.

The Smurfs – Dreams is sold as an experience where players, alone or in cooperative for two, will have to face smurfically exciting challenges and mind-blowing puzzles as we travel through a fully immersive magical world in which imagination comes to life. “Have you ever wondered what goes through the mind of a sleeping Smurf? Now you have the opportunity to find out!”, they present from Meridiem Games in a note.

Gargamel has left everyone in a dream

And in this adventure, the evil Gargamel has made a new plan to capture the Smurfs: he has placed a cunning curse on the sarsaparilla bushes, causing a deep sleep in the Smurfs after eating its delicious leaves. The fate of the village, thus, is fought on a dreamlike plane, allowing us to participate in a hectic but unpredictable journey.

Every dream unfolds a unique adventure with its own set of accessories, puzzles and surprises in which we must collect all the magical orbs to wake up all the Smurfs and bring the village back to life. In total, up to four worlds are promised, with 12 levels and 16 mini-levels to complete.

The Smurfs – Dreams launches this year on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Develops Ocellus Studio (Marsupilami – Hoobadventure) with Microid Games as publisher. From Meridiem Games they will take care of their physical editions in Spain for PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
