Although it is not possible to completely remove a property from the Google Maps radar, the application allows you to blur its exterior appearance and other details.
If that is your goal, then you should follow these steps:
- Enter Google Maps in a web browser.
- Locate the house you want to hide and go to Google Street View.
- When the house is already identified, check a box located in the upper left and click on the three dots. In the options that appear, you must press Report a problem.
- A photograph of the home will immediately be displayed on the screen, before which you must select what you want to blur: a face, house, car, license plates or other elements.
- Choose a reason why you want to blur that image.
- When you have finished those steps, enter your email and reCAPTCHA verification.
- Press send.
If Google Maps accepts the modifications, they cannot be reversed. For this reason, users must be sure that the property will not be able to be seen again, at least as directly, in the maps application.
