Samsung’s Artificial Intelligence tools break communication barriers and make tasks no longer laborious
Samsung has developed Galaxy AI, an Artificial Intelligence technology that aims to simplify people’s lives, allowing them to focus on essential activities, both at home and at work. Tools such as Simultaneous Translation, Interpreter, Transcription Assistant and Notes Assistant are among the functions offered by Galaxy AI, which give the possibility of transforming the routine of work teams.
Introduced in January 2024, Galaxy AI is now available on a variety of devices, including series Galaxy S24, S23 and S22, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4 and Tab S9.
Find out what these tools are and how they can make activities easier and more practical:
Simultaneous translation and interpreter
Something essential at work is communication. Whether serving clients, negotiating with suppliers or even working with colleagues of other nationalities. Galaxy AI breaks language barriers and makes communication accessible to everyone.
For example, in a situation where it is necessary to make a call to a customer who only speaks English while the employee does not speak English. With simultaneous translation, you simply call the customer and the Galaxy AI on your smartphone will translate the entire conversation for both of you.
And, if the communication is carried out in person, the Interpreter will guarantee fluidity in communication. With this function, the smartphone screen is divided and the entire conversation is translated in real time. It is even possible to reverse the text so that two people, facing each other, can easily read everything that the Interpreter is recording and translating.
Transcription Assistant
The Transcription Wizard saves the user time during and after what needs to be recorded. The tool allows you to record speeches and create a transcription of what was said, allowing for more efficient communication focused on the present moment, without worrying about taking notes.
In addition to facilitating reporting after meetings and conferences, since the content has already been recorded and transcribed, the tool also offers the possibility of making brief summaries. And, if you can’t record at that moment, you can also record later audio detailing what needs to be noted down, which the Transcription Assistant converts to text.
Note Assistant
For those who prefer or need to simply take notes, Notes Assistant is the ideal feature. Whether annotating with the S Pen or using the keyboard, the tool organizes the records, suggests summaries and better options for structuring the information you want to save.
