One of these spaces is the so-called Movida Juvenil, which is dedicated to literary production for youth readers.

Another space will be dedicated to the promotion of Uruguayan editorial launches, both for children and youth.

The third space in the program will be dedicated to performing arts for this audience. And the fourth will have the Argentine game store Pumpeli as a guest exhibitor.

Activities of the Youth Movement

On Saturday the 8th, starting at 3 p.m., in the Red Room of the Municipal Palace, the editions of Argentine authors specially invited for the Fair will be presented: “Joa’s Theory”, by Agus Grimm Pitch; “It was always you”, by Malena Hehn; “Crystal Hearts”, by Nini Ríos; “Portraits of perfect moments”, by Sol Chiara.

At 5 p.m., but in the Blue Room, “Animal Spirit” by Magalí Tajes will be presented.

On Sunday the 9th, at 5 p.m., the Argentine writer Ann Rodd and the Mexican writer Mariana Palova will have a virtual dialogue with Sofía Aguerre, Valentina Marini and Anne O’Malley. The topic they will address will be: Good fantasy is also written in Latin America. The moderator of the talk will be Paula Rey.

Also at 5 p.m., but in the Salón Dorado, Mariela Peña will present “Flores de escarcha” and will also talk about “Fanástica.”

And at 6:00 p.m., in the Red Room, Fio Sketches will present “The Mushroom Girl.”

For Saturday the 15th, at 6 p.m., the Exploring the Cosmere table is scheduled. This activity will be in the Red Room, with the participation of the Cosmere Uruguay Community and the Exploring the Cosmere Reading Club.

That Saturday, also at 6 p.m., in the Dorado room, Argentine Anna K Franco will present the “Secrets” saga.

Closing the weekend, on Sunday the 17th, at 5 p.m., in the Dorado room, the bookstagrammers @fraanlector @corazondetinta.uy @perdidaenmil_historias @etrabajosylecturasdeagus will recommend youth books of various genres and will debate this movement in the Río de la Plata.

On stage

As part of the show programming, on Sunday the 9th, at 4 p.m., the singer and composer Letu Ruibal will perform in the Rojo room. It will be an opportunity to share songs and games with the whole family; Letu’s proposal adds humor, music, poetry and dynamic integration with the public with original creativity.

From Monday the 10th to Friday the 14th, at 4 p.m., the show “Montevideo Ciudad Magica” will be presented in the Red Room, directed by Jimena Márquez and with the musical collaboration of Martín Agiolillo and a performance by Javier Martínez. This creation is based on the book “Magical Montevideo”, by the writer and oral narrator Néstor Gandulia.
