Version 6.0.3 of Leader’s LVB440 IP analyzer transversally improves its capabilities, although it focuses on offering expanded support for the latest standards related to object-based audio metadata or its updated canvas.

New audio features include support for decoding Serial ADM on data channels SMPTE ST 2110-31as defined in ST 2116covering presentation rendering Serial ADM and the visualization of audio bed channels and object channels from the related metadata. The system also adds experimental support to decode Serial ADM data elements sent using ST 2110-41, as well as ST 2127-2 Fast metadata. Additionally, newly added support for ST 2110-41 Fast metadata streams now has a feature flag to toggle whether application/ST2110-41 appears as a capability on NMOS receivers.

Other interesting improvements included in the Leader LVB440 software version 6.0.3 are the possible use of deep color drawing buffersor a new canvas enabling simultaneous display of video images, waveforms, chroma vectors and audio signal levels from up to four separate services in a user-configurable layout.

The LVB440 allows you to analyze the data flow SD, HD, HDR, 4K and 4K HDR supporting data rates of 10, 25, 40 and 50 gigabit/s, Expandable up to 100 gigabit/s through dual interfaces. The Leader solution has been designed to Supervise and analyze high bit rate media traffic in broadcast production studios, mobile units, control facilities and transmission networks.

The system is controlled through a browser HTML-5 and offers full support for up to eight local or remote users. When connected to primary and secondary networks, the LVB440 can monitor and analyze redundancy within the standard SMTPE ST 2022-7. Tools are also provided for the analysis of the PTP clockincluding clock source detection, timing accuracy, and individual flow path latency.
