ASUS officially presents its new ROG Thor Titanium III power supply #Computex2024

There were many announcements that we saw during the first days of Computex 2024 in Taiwan, and the new ASUS ROG Thor Titanium III power supply is one of the most striking announcements. This is a new source of power.

ASUS ROG Thor Titanium III, features

The Thor 1600W Titanium III ATX 3.1 power supply comes with a screen on the side that shows the current system consumption. Its screen is magnetically attached to the side, so it can be removed and placed on the opposite side of the power supply.

So no matter if the power supply is facing forward, backward, up or down, you will be able to see the screen. The Thor 1600W Titanium III also has dual 12V connectors so you can power more than one GPU.

The GPU power cables also have an additional two-pin purple connector on the power supply side that the Thor uses to monitor the amount of voltage the graphics card is requesting and adjust its output accordingly.

Another element of the fountain that draws attention is the inclusion of an OLED screen that shows the fountain’s consumption in real time. It has an integrated magnet that we can place the screen where we are most interested.

There is no official price or availability for this new power source yet, but the current model is priced at USD $700, so we should expect a fairly similar price.
