In fact, there is already talk of a remastering of Halo Combat Evolved for Xbox and PS5, although to confirm all this we will have to wait until this Sunday. However, it seems that The Verge’s Tom Warren is already giving some sneak peeks, in this case related to two video games shown last year.

Fable and South of Midnight would be released sometime in 2025

According to a recent report in The Verge, it has been announced that Microsoft will once again show Fable by Playground Games and South of Midnight by Compulsion Gametwo games that were shown last year during the non-E3 event and that on this occasion They would reveal their launch year for 2025this being a fact that would fit with the rumors that talk about the Fable launch window for the same period.

Now, it should be noted that this same report also talks about the possible launches of Xbox games on PS5, since the case of Halo: Combat Evolved can bring up quite a bit of debate. However, always according to Warren’s words, Fable and South of Midnight are not being considered for release on PS5, a fate that the new Gears VI would not have either. Therefore, it seems that if we are going to see Microsoft’s own games in the competition, they will be remastered.
