WASHINGTON (AP) — Nick Senzel hit his first home run in almost six weeks and drove in three runs, Eddie Rosario had three RBIs against his former team and the Washington Nationals beat the Atlanta Braves 7-3 on Saturday.

Washington won back-to-back games for the first time since May 30, when it also beat the Braves on back-to-back nights. The Nationals are 5-2 this season against Atlanta.

Sean Murphy homered for the Braves, who have lost three of four and fell a season-high nine games behind Philadelphia in the NL East.

Senzel, who had three hits, helped drive in runs in his first three plate appearances. He led off the second inning with a double off Charlie Moront (3-3) and scored on CJ Abrams’ two-out single, before driving in Luis Robert Jr. in the fourth to take a 4-0 lead.

The third baseman followed Venezuelan Keibert Ruiz’s single to open the sixth with a shot into the visiting bullpen to make it 7-2. This was Senzel’s first home run since April 28.

For the Braves, Dominican Marcell Ozuna was 2-for-4 with one run scored. Venezuelan Orlando Arcia 4-0.

For the Nationals, Puerto Rican Eddie Rosario was 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Cuban Luis Robert Jr. 1-for-4 with one scored. Venezuelan Keibert Ruiz 1-for-4 with one run scored.
