As many of you well know, we are in one of the most anticipated events of the year in the video game industry, the one now known by many as the “not E3”, since we are in days of video game events with more news, and some less, interesting about what is coming in the coming months and years. In fact, last Friday night, a new Summer Game Fest took place (although, given what we have seen, yesterday’s Xbox event was the one that really succeeded), which although it did not have a very good reception for several reasons, It left us with some announcements to take into account, and we were able to witness some of them at the subsequent event called Day of the Devs.

That is the case of the title that concerns us in this post, Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure, which announced its global release date for July 25 on PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) and iOS and Android mobile devices, through Netflix Games. That wasn’t all, as a new trailer and demo were also unveiled for Valve’s Steam Next Fest.

The Furniture & Mattress game, Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure, is a new puzzle game in which we can alter the map with every move we make. Another curious aspect that is worth highlighting about this is that it is the first game from the studio created by David Hellman (artist of Braid, a game that recently released its Anniversary Edition on consoles, PC and mobile phones through Netflix), the designer Nicolás Recabarren (Ethereal) and screenwriter Nick Suttner (Carto).

The premise that this proposal presents to us has as its protagonist Jemma, a young woman who is capable of altering her environment when she leaves home, which ends up causing problems with her neighbors. Jemma “has one goal: to know herself. When she leaves her zone of, sometimes overwhelming, comfort, she finds an inspiring world where fear rules at the hands of a ‘static’ and immovable force. Her intention is to break through. in a stagnant culture and find a place for themselves,” they indicate in their description.

“The game takes place on a single, interconnected ‘network’ that occupies the entire world and combines movement, exploration and combat. When Jemma moves, the world moves with her, creating a chaotic but fun and a series of puzzles that tinker and play with the central mechanics,” they add. Beyond what has been mentioned, it should also be mentioned that, according to those responsible, this game can last about 8 or 10 hours, with accessibility options for those who have difficulties with the puzzles and just want to enjoy the story.

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure Demo on Steam

Remember that this Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure, a game recently announced by Netflix as one of its new releases for this summer, already has a global arrival date on mobile phones through Netflix, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, and it will be next 25 July, although it is not too far-fetched to think of a possible soft launch in some selected regions. On the other hand, as you can see in the button just above these lines, you can now try the Steam demo of this new puzzle game, which looks more than good.
