MADRID, June 12. (Portaltic/EP) –

Jabra has made the decision to gradually close the lines of Elite and Talk products after “a thorough review of its business” and after a refocusing of the first of these product lines towards the premium segment.

Both families of headphones They are manufactured at the user level, with the first being those that are focused on daily use for any activity – they come in pairs and are wireless – while the second are monaural and are sold in individual format.

The CEO of GN (Jabra’s parent company) Store Nord, Peter Karlstromer, announced this Friday that the company has chosen to “gradually close” the product lines of both families of headphones.

This decision to discontinue production of the Elite and Talk families would be the result of its “commitment” to focusing “on attractive markets where profitable growth can be generated,” as reported by GlobeNews Wire.

This portal also suggests that this manufacturing cessation could have been motivated by the refocusing of the Elite product line towards the premium segment, which began in 2023, while Talk products are positioned in the mono Bluetooth market, which is “in decline.”

In this sense, Karlstromer has commented that “the markets have changed over time” and that they currently cannot “generate a fair return on investment compared to the many other opportunities” that other businesses, such as those dedicated to companies, offer. and the games.

As GN will reduce inventory of these product families, Jabra Elite and Talk are expected to be phased out by the end of 2024. However, once this phase-out is complete, will continue to provide service and support to buyers of these products.
