Xiaomi has announced through its latest beta a new functionality that will change everything. Is about a major change to the Notes appincorporating a greater presence of artificial intelligence, marking the beginning of a new era in which practically any application will be focused on AI.
Thanks to the potential of artificial intelligence, the Notes application will now be able to create summaries not only from text, but also in relation to a link on a Web page. A very interesting function, which Apple will also introduce in iOS 18 as Apple Intelligence.

As we can see below these lines, the Notes application now incorporates a new functionality called SummaryList. This allows us to generate a summary from a certain text.
Additionally, SummaryList is also capable of generating a summary from a linkthat is, by simply copying a link to a web page, the Notes application will connect to it, will extract the content and offer us a summary.
Of course, for the moment this functionality will only be available through the Chinese HyperOS ROM, since at the moment Xiaomi’s AI is not adapted to other languages. In addition, Xiaomi’s artificial intelligence presents a high level of censorshipso its adaptation to the Global ROM will probably generate more work and time than we think, although it will ultimately be necessary.
