The Esports World Cupa large-scale esports tournament organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation, has announced the incorporation of two new games: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty Warzone. The last two additions to the EWC bring their number of games to 21. The tournament Warzone will have a prize pool of $1M and the MW3 tournament will have $1.8M.

The Esports World Cup will begin soon in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. It is the largest esports event in history and replaces Gamers8 as the country’s flagship esports festival, and will last almost two months.

According to the organizers of the Esports World Cup, the two Call of Duty games are the latest additions to the event, which will feature 22 competitions. The competition will include almost all of today’s top esports games, from Dota 2 and League of Legends to Counter-Strike, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Apex Legends, Fortnite, PUBG, Rocket League and many more.

The Warzone competition will have 21 teams, while MW3 will have 16 teams in total. As with other games, results in the newly announced titles will contribute points to the Esports World Cup “Club Championship”, which will have a prize pool of $20M.

The Esports Awards, the largest awards show in the esports industry, have recently partnered with the EWC and will be held in Arabia.
