Shadow of the Erdtree reveals its release time and updates its requirements for PC

The expansion premieres this Friday, June 21 as one of the biggest releases of the month

There is less than a week until the launch of Shadow of the Erdtreeone of the most anticipated expansions in the video game sector as it is the only DLC that will expand what was the game of the year 2021, Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware. Announced after the resounding success of the game, which has sold more than 25 million copies, this new story promises to immerse players even further into the dark and enigmatic world of the Middle Lands.

The plot of Shadow of the Erdtree centers on new mysteries surrounding a monumental tree that plays a crucial role in the game’s mythology. Players will thus be able to discover new areas to explore, formidable enemies, challenging bosses and a rich narrative that will expand the lore of the universe.

Being a content as dense as expected, FromSoftware has already announced when the adventure can begin depending on the players’ territory:

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree can be pre-ordered as a DLC for the base game for 39.99 euros on digital platforms before its arrival next June 21 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC. A deluxe edition is also on sale, ten euros more expensive, which includes an art book and digital soundtrack of the expansion.

For new players, there is a bundle of the game and DLC as well as deluxe editions of both titles, available for 99.99 euros. For the most fanatical, a collector’s edition which comes with a statue (46cm) of Messmer the Impaler, a 40-page physical art book and a digital soundtrack fills the expansion’s release formats.
