The Google app for iOS has been updated to incorporate the Gemini chatbot, two weeks after the dedicated Android application was enabled for Spanish users.
Gemini is the name given to Google’s generative artificial intelligence ‘chatbot’, with which users can perform searches in a conversational formatin addition to accessing an advanced wizard with multimodal capability.
Google has now launched Gemini for iOS devices, as the company has reported through X. In this case, iPhone users will be able to access this ‘chatbot’ with the update of the Google ‘app’, where you can meet a new button located above the name of the search engine.
This launch follows the arrival in Spain and other European countries in early June of the Gemini ‘app’ for Android. In this operating system you can also interact with the ‘chatbot’ via Google Assistantwhere you can set alarms, make phone calls and control smart home devices.
