With processors and video cards increasingly demanding in energy consumption, the industry mobilized to develop absurd sources. Proof of this are the models launched at Computex 2024 by Enermax, with 2,400W of power, and the 2,800W Leadex Super Flower.

The Prime PX-2200 80+ Platinum ATX 3 from Seasonic is even modest with its 2200 W of power. Designed to support Ryzen Threadripper processors and even an RTX 4090, the model is ATX 3 certified and 80+ Platinum with 92% energy efficiency, plus a 12-year warranty.

Enermax showed its 2,400 W Platimax power supply focused on high-performance computing. In addition to the ATX 3.0 and 80+ Platinum seals, this component stands out for having two 12V 2×6 connectors to connect to video cards, ideal for those considering building systems with more than one GPU.

Finally, the Leadex SF-2800F14HP from Super Flower is a monster power source, with an incredible 2800W to drive any home system. In fact, this power supply has the power necessary to work with four video cards simultaneously, aimed at workstations.

The Leadex model of Super Flower should be launched at the end of the year for $599 (about 3,200 reais in direct conversion, without taxes), while the Platimax will go into production in December and will cost $499 (about 2,700 reais). Seasonic’s Prime PX-2200 does not yet have a price or release date.
