WhatsApp, Meta’s instant messaging application, will stop working on several cell phones as of July 1, 2024, due to updates to the app which will not be compatible with the old iOS, Android and Symbian operating systems.
The website FayerWayer, specialized in technology, explained that devices that have a lower version of the operating systems than iOS 10.0 or Android 4.1 will not be able to update or use WhatsApp.
It was learned that among the cell phones that will stop working are models from the Apple, Samsung, LG, Huawei, Sony, Lenovo, ZTE, among others.
