One of the applications that is renewed, at least in its web version, is YouTube Music. And the YouTube music service seems to have made the decision to visually standardize the tablet version now to the web.

The web version of YouTube Music is now renewed to be more similar to the tablet version

As we can see on 9to5Google, YouTube Music is rolling out a redesigned two-column user interface for albums and playlists on the web. The first column shows the album art, year, and description, plus handy buttons like play, download, share, and more.

The second column, on the other hand, lists the tracks included, along with their number of plays, duration, and artist. Playlists get the same treatment, with a denser look that takes advantage of the available screen real estate on laptops and desktops.

This update follows the design of the PWA (progressive web app)which adds support for offline downloads and a redesign of the user interface of Listening now to match the mobile version.

According to the portal, the redesign of YouTube Music albums and playlists on the web is being widely deployed since yesterday. So it’s not a bad idea to close the Progressive Web App/tab to reload and try again until you see the new design.
