Anker has launched a new MagGo wireless charger (2-in-1 stand) designed for Apple devices in the US. The model is an improved version of the Anker PowerWave Magnetic 2-in-1 Stand Lite. As its name suggests, the accessory can charge two devices simultaneously: your iPhone and the AirPods.
The Qi2-certified MagGo Wireless Charger (2-in-1 Stand) MagSafe Charging Pad offers 15W fast charging. According to Anker, this would allow you to charge an iPhone 15 Pro to 25% in 21 minutes. The previous PowerWave model only offered 7.5W output, and the same charge took 39 minutes. You can adjust the phone’s angle up to 45° vertically and 360° horizontally, with the option to use iOS 17’s StandBy mode for optimized full-screen viewing. The AirPods charge in the base at 5W, with two LEDs indicating the charging status of each device.
The charger is powered via USB-C and comes with a 1.5m (5ft) USB-C to USB-C cable. Additionally, Anker offers a 24-month warranty on the accessory. You can now buy the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger (2-in-1 Stand) on Amazon US for $45.99, making it $5 more expensive than the previous PowerWave model, which sells for $39.99. It is not clear if or when this new product could be launched in other markets such as Europe.
