The cheapest foldable on the market arrives in Spain: ZTE Nubia Flip

The Chinese company wants to democratize the use of this equipment with the launch of its folding clamshell for 599 euros.

After the official presentation of the new ZTE Nubia Flip 5G at the last Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​the Chinese company today officially announces the sale of its terminal, the most economical folding clamshell.

The Nubia Flip is ZTE’s first clamshell device and according to the company it aims to popularize folding products without giving up a high level of technology and performance, but at an affordable cost.

The device has a 6.9-inch AMOLED main screen and a 1.43-inch exterior screen with a 120Hz refresh rate to improve its use. Its design is elegant and boasts lightness, with 214 grams and a resistant hinge system.

In terms of power, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, with 8 GB of RAM expandable up to 20GB of virtual RAM by using part of the 256GB internal memory.

On the other hand, it has a 4,310mAh battery along with 33W fast charging.

The dual 50-megapixel rear camera assisted by AI is combined with a 16-megapixel internal lens that allows you to take advantage of the two screens of the mobile phone to preview the results of the photographs. This folding smartphone also presents the possibility of taking dual captures thanks to an application that allows you to use both screens, and “hands-free” selfies, since they can be taken with the mobile phone folded at a 90º angle. It also has a 4K quality video stabilization system.

Price and availability

The nubia Flip 5G can be purchased through the operator Vodafone, and in July it will also be available on Yoigo. As for the free market, it can be purchased through Amazon for 599 euros and during the summer it will reach the rest of the channels. The device is available in Cosmic Black color.
