Actors Lee Je Hoon and Koo Kyo Hwan participated in a photo shoot for ELLE Korea!
The shoot captures their intense chemistry as they gathered in a space, reflecting their dynamic collaboration on the film “Escape.”
In an interview after the photo shoot, Lee Je Hoon, who plays fugitive soldier Gyu Nam in “Escape,” raised expectations by saying, “I feel like I’ve done every kind of action that a fugitive can do in ‘Escape.’ It is a project in which I pushed my heart rate to the maximum while acting.”
When asked if Lee Je Hoon longs for tomorrow in real life similarly to how Gyu Nam does, he explained, “I am someone who always wants to break free from a predetermined future or the beaten path. “I feel alive when I look for new challenges and find new things.”
After his interaction with his co-star Koo Kyo Hwan, Lee Je Hoon commented, “I was so excited to be pursued by someone I really wanted to meet. Koo Kyo Hwan is an actor who always exceeds the public’s expectations. As he recorded, I couldn’t help but admire the extent of his charms. “I am completely in love with him.”
Koo Kyo Hwan also commented on working with Lee Je Hoon and said, “I liked Lee Je Hoon first. He has the power to instantly submerge his counterpart. He makes you feel like he is already in the space of the film.” He expressed his affection by saying, “I hope our connection as partners does not end with this project.”
Regarding his role as the security team officer Hyun Sang who pursues Gyu Nam, Koo Kyo Hwan expressed, “He was a character I wanted to climb behind and take a look at. While acting, there was a moment where I instinctively felt like I truly became one with Hyun Sang’s character.”
Speaking about his driving force as an actor, Koo Kyo Hwan stated, “As an actor, I find that sometimes anxiety can be a driving force. I have certainly become more adaptable than in the past and the desire to do things I am not ashamed of has become a strong motivator within me.”
