The company Ubisoft is paving the way for the launch of a new video game in the franchise Assassin’s Creedbut its CEO, Yves Guillemotnow revealed that they are also cooking remakes of older games in the series.

Although there is no information as of yet on which Assassin’s Creed games will be reborn, reports have emerged over the past year that anticipated the release of a new version based on the popular Assassin’s Creed Black Flagthe sixth installment of the franchise and the fourth part of the central line.

Guillemot’s revelation took place as part of an interview on the official Ubisoft site, where they tested the catalog of new games that will arrive.

“First, players will be able to get excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we created in the past and modernize them. There are worlds in some of our older Assassin’s Creed games that are still extremely rich.“, the executive said.

In total, the franchise Assassin’s Creed has released 13 titles in total and is preparing for the launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows in November of this year, featuring a story set in Japan.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag focused on the Golden Age of Piracy, featuring the story of Edward Kenway, and before that focused on stories such as the Third Crusade with Altaïr Ibn-LaʼAhad, Renaissance Italy with the popular Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and the American Revolution, with the half-breed Ratonhnhaké:ton.
